A window to the Middle Age.
The Church of San Pietro was built in the 12th century and it represents the ideal starting point for a journey into the Lower Middle Ages period. Inside, you are greeted by a single nave with a two-pitch roof, covered in wood and antique terracotta.
The thick side-walls are interrupted by tiny windows from which light filters through, enlightening the preciously frescoed walls. At the end, the small apse and stone altar consecrate this place and invite visitors to silent meditation.
