Villa

Kissed by the sun, guardian of a noble heart.

As early as the year 1000 A.D. the ancient castle of Sarcedo stood on Bodo’s hill, but it was destroyed in the fourteenth century during a war over control of the territory between Scaligeri and Carraresi. Today, right on top of the same hill, Villa Tretti dominates the landscape.

The main body of the Villa was built in 1884 in a particularly panoramic position, and it was then sided by colonnades. The noble residence is a typical example of neoclassical villa architecture, rich in decorative details and friezes inspired by nature.
