Villa di Bodo is immersed in an area of rare beauty and variety, at the foot of the Altopiano di Asiago. Here in the heart of the Vicenza foothills, the gentle rolling hills, dotted with historic villages and Venetian villas, break on the ridges of the mountains to the north, while to the south the view slides towards the Adriatic Sea.

A fertile land bordered to the east by the Astico torrent has provided an ideal environment for the settlement of man since prehistoric times.

Villa di Bodo is the perfect starting point to visit the most prestigious small towns and cities of art in Veneto.  Within a radius of twenty kilometres you can find the medieval castle of Thiene, the lively town of Breganze, the famous Piazza degli Scacchi in Marostica, the romantic Ponte Vecchio in Bassano and the splendid city of Vicenza, a jewel of discreet charm.

In Vicenza, you can lose yourself inside the Palladio’s villas and the streets paved with works of art from the 16th to the 19th century, today part of the UNESCO World Heritage list. Finally, beyond the borders of the province, you can explore the Botanical Garden of Padua, Venice and its lagoon, the city of Verona, the wine hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and the Dolomites.

Villa di Bodo is at the centre of an extraordinarily rich network of paths, cycling routes and running trails that cross the countryside and offer unforgettable pristine landscapes.

The Altopiano di Asiago, offers endless opportunities for trekking and hiking at all levels of difficulty, and hundreds of kilometres of trails for skiing – both cross-country, downhill and alpine. The slopes of the nearby Monte Grappa are the kingdom of free flight, while the Brenta river hosts the world rafting championships.
